ForumAbroad. Opening doors for students with global dreams.

We started ForumAbroad as two students who made the leap ourselves. Gift Christian (now at Dartmouth) and Benjamin Maziku (admitted to Alfred) know how confusing and isolating the process can feel. This platform is our way of giving back: a community where students can find clear guidance, real mentors, and trusted opportunities, without the endless guesswork.

Why we built TZtoAbroad

After two gap years of navigating confusing deadlines, hidden scholarships, and a lot of silence, we realized how isolating the journey to studying abroad can feel. Just before leaving Tanzania, we asked ourselves: what if there was a space where students could ask, share, and guide each other through this process? That is how TZtoAbroad was born.

This is not just our story. It is for every student still searching for the right information, the right chance, the right push. While Tansaf gave us an incredible platform, so many others are still out there without guidance. If we can help even one more person find their path, it is worth it.

1
Reduce uncertainty
Checklists, deadlines, and timelines so you do not have to guess your next step.
2
Build trust
Guidance from alumni, mentors, and peers who have been exactly where you are.
3
Grow together
A space that reminds us this journey is shared. We rise by lifting each other.

"This is not about prestige. It is about clarity. Every capable student deserves to see which doors are open and how to walk through them."
