After finishing Form 6, if I don’t get admitted right away, how do I spend a gap year productively so universities see growth and not just a year of waiting?

From my perspective I think its best to involve oneself in things related to your planned field of study... for example incomming (or planning) CS students can join tech clubs, attend tech events and conferences and join developers' communities out there to gain some experience
